Have had “It hertz when IP” for years.

Also have “It hertz when IP slow” and “It hertz when IP fast” for 2.4g and 5g respectively.

And “Obi WAN Kenobi” for the kids.

Used The Van Outside for years, however we are currently using "Guardians of the Gateway" and "Never going to give you Wi-Fi". The kids went through a phase of Rick rolling anyone they could for a while so it was flavour of the month at the time.

This would be better in the LAN forum.

Didn't want to use the name of the computer on Scorpio, huh? Can't really say I blame you :)

When I moved into my current home and was still acquiring network gear, I had been watching a lot of "Life of Boris" on Youtube. So resultingly up popped the first SSID of "KGB Surveillance Lada" as a funny play on the whole FBI/GCSB/insert_govt_spook_agency Spy Van gag. Then I upgraded to AC Wave2 gear and resultingly got for the time super fast AC wireless, and I swore loudly and profusely experiencing such speed without wires ... so the 5Ghz band SSID got called "Cyka Blyat". Then along came the IoT stuff so that got separated onto it's own network named "neuverennaya vie sebe chush" which is what google spat out as a translation for "Insecure Bulls%^t"

While I've set custom SSIDs in the past, I stopped because most visitors to houses are cunning/smart enough to find the SSID/Password off the stickers on the APs. This has cut down dramtically on the 'whats the wifi network/password' sort of queries I used to get a lot of previously. Very especially helpful at relatives houses where I can pretty much set and forget their APs--people visiting them can always find their SSID/PSK on their sticker. A bit boring yes, but if it saves my time... :)

A friend has a Star Wars themed name. I always find it interesting scrolling through the names at places like airports--you do find some gems there.
