1. Define with the board if you have a budget for this project
2. If you do, issue a RFP/Tender to some local IT firms (the IT Manager should know who they are)
3. Don't put requirements in your RFP/Tender that are clearly beyond your budget

Good luck, matching a school's requirements with their budgets is often the biggest challenge

An RFP for prototype school WiFi installs has just been issued by TorqueIP.

The requirements for this are very detailed along with excepionally strict requirements for integration with current school logins, high security levels, and quite extensive logging capabilities.

Reading this really is essential if you're going it alone because it does give you an idea of really what best practice is.
