Gurezaemon:

Users are still complaining to Grandstream on their forums about the speed issue, to little effect.

Yep, doesn't look like a fix is coming anytime soon.  Sadly, I have pulled out my GWN7000 and put back in my ASUS RT-AC88U which strangely enough gives me more ot less full speed.  Even sadder, the Wi-Fi is as good as my GWN7610 AP, although not as good on the range front.

Yep, I put some boots in in that thread as well, but unfortunately it seems to be shouting into the wind this far.

Talking to go wifi, it seems like GS is, uh, not being forthcoming with information even to their suppliers. I managed to return mine for a credit and, through a sequence of events, ended up with an Edgerouter 4 and nanoHD AP.

While it wasn't as straight-forward to setup as the GWN7000, it certainly seems a lot more powerful both in features and compute, plus much easier to find support for it. And I managed to get IPv6 working, which is something I couldn't manage with the GS (not ruling out the problem between the chair and keyboard though).

I'm probably going to put my 2x GWN7600s up for sale soon if anybody wants them. Just under a year old, one used, one brand new in box.

Does anyone have a GWN7000 router + GWN7600/7610 AP they no longer use, and would be interested in selling? (due to the updated firmware speed limitation)

The gigabit speed limitation doesn't worry me, as I'm just looking for something relatively cheap for a 2nd property (using 4g wireless broadband), that I can easily configure for site-to-site vpn back to my main property (which also has a GWN7000 + GWN7600)

Thanks

I have a GWN7000 router available that I can let go for $100+ shipping if anyone is interested. No AP though...

I have.

How much would you be willing to pay for the hardware?

I'm no longer looking to purchase a GWN7000 or GWN7600, thanks.
