I have bought an Arrowhead Elite S-Lite alarm kit.  Has anyone out there installed one of these?

There are no instructions or pictures showing how the main alarm panel should be mounted on the usual type of stud and gib wall. There are scew holes in the back of the panel, but does the whole panel sit against the gib or is it usually recessed into the gib?

Many thanks
Jon

I have a copy of the installation guide but its all about wiring up the panel and programming and it doesn't mention anything about mounting the panel. Its probably supposed to be obvious :)

Many thanks

That's a surface mount box.

Bring the cabling out an appropriately placed hole in the wall. Mount the panel with the cables coming through the knock out. Profit.

Thanks. I couldn't decide which way because of the channels out the side at the back.
