This is starting to get to what I want as my single computing solution, anywhere, all the time.

I haven't owned a desktop/laptop for years, the Asus Padfone was compelling for a while, this concept is great though the watch is a tad bulky.

I also like the concept and kinda like where they're heading.

The Hub/Watch component being a solid structure is going to mean it could be awkward to use if you're working in a physically demanding job. And it doesn't seem like a screen protector would be enough to stop damage. Can't find anything about it being waterproof or not. So if you have to take the hub off when you're at work, what do you do? Not like you can use the 5" "pocket screen" on it's own.

I think a ruggedised Hub could open the concept up to more people.

Mulling over a couple of other thoughts on all this but, again - great idea and seems to be a good start, but not for me just yet.

ETA: Also looks like there is/was a Neptune Duo idea?

As above, concept is great, but will the tech be updated to what's available in a years time when it's released? Otherwise by the time they're funded, and ready to deliver, faster/lighter devices might make this less compelling

It all looks too perfect to be true

The object with the smallest battery is centric around making all the other bits and bobs work?

Any android smartwatch/smartphone/tablet combo covers pretty much the same function now so other than being beautiful i'm not sure what major advantages it brings to the table

As above, it seems they have just swapped the roles of the watch & tablet.

The use of 802.11ad is cool. Would be much much more impressed if it could run windows, or maybe a dual boot thing like Ubuntu tried to do with their phones.

Yes, it would be very impressive to see Windows 10 on this sort of setup!
