I have standard Uniden DECT cordless phone - but it keeps dropping out of range. So I'm considering upgrading to an extended range device - grateful for any recommendations. I need two handsets and have a $100 - $200 budget.  Thanks all!

What sort of range are you after, and is it line of sight or obstructed (if so, by what)?

I only need a few hundred meters range - but it's obstructed by a timber house. Current phone is dropping all the time so I'm considering the Uniden X-DECT range - any thoughts?

If you go standard dect then you can add repeaters. Before I went the fritzbox route I had some doro's with repeaters around the house and garage and shed that good coverage everywhere.
