Several years ago I came across a product for $2.95 which is a plastic headset that connects to the head of any phone using Velcro so that you can listen to any phone hands free as it holds it to your ear.

I think it was on TV Shop or some such which may no longer exist. Does anyone know where I can get one or an equivalent without spending too much money? Does anyone even know what the product I am talking about?

Serious answer: Do you mean something like this:

This was a joke doing the rounds about ten years ago as a cheap hands-free solution. At least I think it was a joke.

Something like that but they were actually selling it here a few years ago. They started off at $29.95 bu dropped to $2.99 in the bargain bin. They kind of worked but I had a very heavy landline at the time so it might have worked better with the one I have now.

It basically was like ordinary headphones but without speakers or cord. There was Velcro on one side and you put matching Velcro on the phone. They had adjustable sliding like a headphone to make it fit on your head properly. I think it was a good idea which was underappreciated.

I used to jam the phone under the side of a beanie to hold it to my ear. Perhaps try that?

Sad to say I have actually done this, and it worked very well
