Has anyone tried or can recommend any of the HP Compatible Ink Cartridges?

I require HP 950XL (Black) and HP 951XL (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta)

Obviously they are way cheaper than the branded ones, but are they any good?

I have bought cheap stuff before and it's a bit hit and miss really

Would appreciate feedback if you have tried them please

Thanks!

They're often better than the originals. There are various web sites who have run tests on generics, but since they're generic you can't really go out and buy the same one that was tested. I've always gone for generics when refilling printers for friends and family, and have never had any problems, I've put in $4 cartridges that were indistinguishable in performance from the $30 manufacturer ones. Just buy it from a local vendor so you've got some comeback.

Thank you.  I've found someone local so will give it a go and see what happens.
