Over the years I have purchased several Anker Powerbanks directly from Anker on eBay; getting them into the country without any issues.

However I am currently looking at a brand new model that they only sell via Amazon, and Amazon will not sell this model direct to New Zealand.

As far as I am aware, YouShop is out of the question as Powerbanks are a prohibited item.

So, does anyone know of alternatives for getting Anker into New Zealand?

^ Negative

I've found a few sellers selling the older "phat" version who will ship to New Zealand, as well as one seller with the Updated model .. however pricing is rather expensive.

Buy an older model from ebay. It'll probably work about the same.

I have an older model; I need a newer model with new technology in it (specially QC3.0)

shipito allows you to select the specific carrier and shows the allowance offered by each.

I've always managed to find one that will ship

I added it to my eBay cart, set the address to New Zealand and it told me to go away ..

However that model is a) physically too large and also b) obsolete (has been replaced with a PD version)

I continue the hunt

I did purchase a Powerline+ USB-C to USB-A cable from Cable Geek in order to test something with my current Powerbank, and see that they also have the QC3 Car Charger for order, so will probably purchase that in order to test QC3 charging (to see if it even works as advertised on my phone)

I will continue to search for options to get another Anker Powerbank into the country, or alternative suppliers

Contact the ebay ankerdirect user and they can make the unit available to be ordered from NZ. (They had to do this for me)

I have asked them if they would a) list the version of the Powerbank I want on eBay and b) make it available to New Zealand

No reply yet, but it has also only been a few hours
