All of the options I have found so far are cheap Chinese radios sold in component form or 'all in one' IC based designs.
I want to build a superhet FM braodcast band radio.
Anyone found anything?

How much do you want to make yourself? i.e. do you want to make the oscillator coils yourself or just assemble a pre made kit.
I have seen some plans over the years, from discrete components to PLL IC receivers.
If you want discrete components you will need additional tools to align Oscillators.
Velleman make some kits that might be suitable.

I know enough to be dangerous
Something like this come up in first google search

I'm thinking of a pre made kit and I am OK with aligning the IF stage.
I am thinking discrete this time. All the IC designs seem so simple it would be no fun... Plus some of the IC's are a bit cheap.
I have had a look and Velleman had a nice unit but it's no longer available.
