Hello well i have had my Touch for about 2 months now. Up until about 2 weeks ago when i was trying to set up wi-fi on my laptop ( and failed) i havent been able to connect my ipod touch to wi-fi. The network name itself pops up but it is password protected. However i didnt put a password on any of my networks. Is there anyway i can find out what the "password" (that i never put on) is?

IE:where could i go to find the "password".

Thanks in advance :)

Did you change the admin password on your access point?

Chances are someone connected and set a password.

Easiest thing is to go into the router/access point setup page and change the password yourself. Each model varies on how to do this, search google or consult the manual.

However, if someone set the password for you, then you will probably have to perfom a hard reset.

Make sure you set a new password for both the router management and the wireless access point afterwards.
Also, if it is also a router, make sure you know your internet account/address settings.

Edit: Kinda contradicted myself.
