Hello
I have just purchased a new car and it comes with a connection in the glove compartment for my ipod. It is a 3.55m jack plug. can anyone help me with the type of cable I need to get to connect the ipod to the car.

"3.55m"...

You'll want a 3.5mm TRS connector cable. Something like this which connects on your headphone jack on the iPod.

Sorry I meant 3.5mm. Thank you for your reply. Will this type of cable also charge the ipod when the car is running? I got the impression when I picked up the car than one end of the cable need to be the plug that goes into the bottom of the ipod, is this not the case?

A 3.5mm TRS connector doesn't charge your iPod.

You'll need some proprietary system to connect to the 30-pin connector on the base of the iPod to charge.

Looking on the Apple intl website it shows a cable but does not me tell it what it is called and after a lot of googling I cannot find the correct one. Back to googling again I guess. Thanks for your help.
