What does everyone think of Wyze Sense? I am sure most of use here are familiar with Wyze Cam who have recently announced Wyze Sense. Frequency wise they are using their own protocol or something but would it be ok to use in NZ? I believe it uses 907.8-908.2 MHz

Good question. Looks useful. What's the range?

It’s available now to order. But the question is if it is ok to use them here in NZ? Frequency? Maybe someone from Vodafone or one of the other carriers can comment?

It operates on 915mhz.

Just landed a Sense starter kit today.
Setup a breeze and the Motion Sensor seems to work well.

Hi,

May I ask where you purchased it from?

Thanks.

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Thanks for that but I fell at the first hurdle. They want a USA billing address :-(

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

I have a Youshop address but can that be used as the billing address as well?

So no problem using it in NZ? I was holding off buying it as the fcc id website showed wrong frequency. Just checked spec sheet in wyze app and it does show 915MHz

Thy're back on Amazon with shipping to NZ as an option. But just the cameras and the Sense kit. You'll need to order direct from Wyze if you want more motions sensors or the contact sensors (pack of 4)
