Anyone had any experience with Fujitsu pumps and whether they support Alexa? We're looking at a LUCB and LVCC models. There seems to be differing information online as to whether they support Alexa integration.

Any advice is gratefully received.

I have fujitsu heat pump and it's Wifi enabled using FGLair app, which is supported by google assistant. So I would assume it also works with Alexa skill

Interesting, I have the same setup but did not know it was supported by google assistant - what can one do with google assistant and FGLair?

EDIT: Answering myself :)

1) Install google home

2) Add new device, search for FGLair

3) Login using FGLair app details

4) Google discovers heatpump but with model name (which is long and unwieldy)

5) Add to a room

6) Edit name of heatpump to something more friendly (I only have one so just set it to "heat pump")

7) Now these phrases work through "OK Google":

Yeah I found it last winter on US website, while trying to add heat pump to home assistant. Nothing mentioned on NZ website as GA is not officially supported here :(

I miss the Google controlled heat pump from our old house. If you have the speakers set up just asking Google to turn it on was so easy. It also means you can set the action as part of a routine, so while working from home we have our electric kiwi hour of power set at 9:30 and have heaters on smart sockets come in for the hour. It would be good to include the heat pump in that routine but we are doing that with the remote at the moment.
