I ordered a couple of 2.5s, but I am still waiting for them(Been in the country from the 16th of June). Once I get them I can play some more so will check back to see if you found an answer by then.

The Certificate of Suitability is available on their site (and on the Global-Mark site as the certifiers), but I thought the SDoC could only be completed by the distributor or NZ-based manufacturer.

I couldn't get my electrician to install based on that, although I did check with Worksafe and they seemed to confirm what I thought. The SDoC is only explicitly recognised as evidence of compliance, not explicitly required.

Person ordering from overseas is the importer. friend who used to import lamps had template sdocs that just had to reference the other paperwork needed that showed compliance with some other acceptable test standards. This was all that sparkies needed saying who imported it and the numbers for the tests that were done. I dont think any ever read them properly anyway.

Oh my apologies, didn't read your original post properly - thought you were doing lights.

I guess you'd need one of those non-switch GPO's, and then perhaps a separate face plate for the switches?... bit ugly though. I can't think of any brand's GPO that has removable switch mechs though, they are all built in.

I'm not aware of anything that exactly meets your requirements - generally the switches for a socket are integrated into the socket, and aren't momentary. Closest thing I could suggest is a socket with an additional switch e.g. https://www.electricaldirectltd.co.nz/product/1784-PDL-Double-Horizontal-10Amp-Socket-with-Extra-Switch-White

The additional switch (in the middle) is typically modular so can be removed and replaced with a standard momentary switch from that product range
