Hi,

I want a speaker set I can move about the house, inside and out. I saw several different makes/versions of speakers at Harv Norm which use an iPod for music- does anyone have a recommendation for a particular brand at all, please?

Also, as an alternative, are there any decent wireless speakers out there, which would accept music broadcast from my PC for example? I intended to lay cable throughout my house for internal speakers but would prefer the adaptability of a small, portable speaker set... I realise the sound quality will not be as good from wireless speakers, but surely there must be some decent tech out there now?

Thanks for any help- I know very little about this topic!

Ian

I would reccomend checking out the logitech squeezebox series. These stream music from your computer via a wireless network, will also stream interenet radio to the device along with rss feeds. Its pretty simple to use and setup, the sound quality from the device's are actually pretty good. I dont personally own one but know of someone that has one and have had a play, one of the users here have one too and has wrote a couple of blogs about his experiences.. hopefully he will come in and add his 10c

Check it out here Admitedly its not the cheapest thing out, but for what you get its not bad either!
