How long is a piece of String....

First question is , What panel tech do you want?,,, Classic OLED. or one of the newer quantum techs,

Then its a question of how far up or down the brand ladder you want to be,

Is VEON ok, or do you want TCL or Hisense, or one of the older Korean or Japanese brands.??...

They re probably value judgements only you can answer

Good point, should have mentioned budget. Would love the OLED but don't have the budget for it.
I'm actually at Harvey Norman now and might go for this one:

Or these two I'm going to see after, whichever one I can get a better deal on:

First thing to consider is what OS you want on the TV, as IMO that is the most important thing if you care about it being a smart TV.

You don't mention a budget but the TCL C7K Mini LED is one of the best at its price point. It's on clearance now (last year's model) at JB Hifi so you'll be able to no doubt negotiate a better deal too.

Personally I'd buy the best panel you think you can afford and then stick an Apple TV or Firestick or some other smart box on it...  You will highly likely end up having the TV longer than its "smart features" are supported for....

hell, I've still got a Toshiba REGZA LED on a wall at the bach, its only terrestrial so gets no signal, but with a DISHTV box and HDMI cord  it works off the Freeview dish as well as getting netflix via Wifi

Spelling mistakes in the listing aren't reassuring - "Google Voice Assiatant"

There are plenty of deals out there in store. You jus need to haggle a bit. Web prices are inflated in the hope someone will hit buy now.

2 weeks ago I picked up a Samsung 65" DU which is a crystal UHD screen (2025). List price was $1700 sometimes on promo for $1200. I walked out paying $825.

You just need to ask for best price and be prepared to walk. They will normally come back with a better price.
