Before I go getting all DIY with a wall switch one and a socket, I am wondering if there are any smart sockets that are a dimmer - zigbee, thread, wifi on tuya or something else that can be made to work with home assistant.

 

Its for lavalamps, where they benefit from a bit of dimming once up to temperature to keep them moving well.

Why? Non smart ones exist but I want some duration of full heat to get them moving faster.

I would have thought dimming methods would risk damaging the powered equipment.
