anyone got one of these awesome units with model number EA9xx? (there's a sticker on teh bottom with the model number). I've sent 2 EA8xx back to JB hifi cos the sound is rubbish until they 'warm up', the EA9xx have fixed this problem apparently, I want one. I've checked a few of the dick smiths in Wellington. anyone know a store that stocks the newer models? Bond and bond have it on special for $97(!), old model at Lower Hutt tho, will ring Porirua tomorrow.
Or can anyone reccomend something better for under $200? Must have radio, and the Philips ones are out cos you can't set the volume for the alarm, it just keeps increasing until it's super loud.
Cheers

Aha, I was wondering if that was just my unit, or if it was a known issue. I noticed it as soon as winter started giving much colder mornings. Takes a good hour and then some to warm up for me.

Apart from that, sorry for jumping in and not giving an answer :(

A bit OT perhaps, but I have been thoroughly disappointed with the quality of Logitech's products recently.

It's a pity you need a built in radio, otherwise I would have recommended one of the Bose iPod docks which are excellent.
