Hi All,

Having finally bought my ipod and downloaded itunes, I am having problems with some album data.  I have a couple of compliation albums on my computer and windows media player seemed fine with that, kept the tracks together in the album despite there being more than one artist.  Howver itunes has given me a list of loads of albums of the same name but with different artists with one track in each.  Can I get itunes to accept compilation albums and just show one album in my libraty?  Sure I can set up a playlist for that album, but I'd rather have all the tracks together in my library too.  I have a few other compilation albums that I'd like to add, but dont really want to do it now if I cant group all the tracks together.

All help appreciated!

Karen

I know this is an old thread but i remember beeing annoyed by this what i first got an ipod and had to use itunes.

if you have your music tagged correctly then click sort by album rather then sort by artist it should sort it out.

it does for me anyhow
