Ive got one of these laying around not being used anymore...It was used about for a week and then we got sick of it because the unit had to be pretty much line of sight to the heatpump IR (and we had a baby at the time who was about to crawl)....

https://pebbleair.com/about.html#about

It's from 2015, so assume if its fired up it can be updated etc. I did read somthing somewhere about having to reset them on the manufacturers end too... but I could be wrong.

PM if me if you are keen to buy...

This is just perfect timing. I have just installed a Fujitsu ducted unit with the identical controller as Tim's.

Looking at IntensisHome... Thanks again.

Not sure why people are so dismissive of the Pebble Air. I have three of then and it just works. I can turn my Fujitsu or Panasonic units when I am leaving town  the house is nice and cosy when I get home. In summer time I can set the Cool option and house is cool when I get there. It works on my tablets or cellphones and the same for all the family.

Yes it costs a little but it doesnt nto work etc.eed extensive setting up. No setting entries in firewall in Router to enable it to get through Firewall.

The nice part is that it is licenced for three years and I was a little worried how that would work when the three years were up. Surprise it told my it had expired and took me to the Google Play Store and I could sign up for another 3 years at a nominal cost. Took 10 seconds to have it all working again .

I don't think anyone is being dismissive rather the use cases. The pebble air imo is an IR solution which is fine for most people. I wanted a more integrated control ability so the Intensis Home so far seems to be the exact thing I was looking for.
