Hey KShips,

I had a look at AgoControl a while ago but it wasn't very mature. How is it looking these days? Have you come across/tried openHAB at all? Would be interested to hear a comparison if you have a view.

How are you connecting to those temp sensors? Using the 1-wire protocol?

timmmay: That link goes to a small electronic component. I was expecting something ready made, nice case, batteries, that communicates wirelessly back to the base station. Does such a thing exist for a reasonable price?


A nice kit like that, I'd guess that they are around but not cheap. Maybe take this into a new topic and see what comes up.

RFXCOM - $40 per sensor (batteries included!). Just need to splash out for the controller...
