The problem is a power bank is not a battery, it is an appliance that contains a cell, but many ignorant people think they are just a battery.

I have not risked anything with a cell in it to youshop after their vague and clearly ignorant responses to queries about them. They couldnt even tell me if a cordless drill kit with a drill, 2 batteries (under the watt hour limits) and a charger would be able to be shipped. Its a kit that contains a battery so you would think so, but inside the kit is a bare battery which is prohibited. Stock answer from them with the non helpful page about what is allowable and what isnt.

shipito have an option to say something has lithium cells in it. I dont know what happens if you tick it or not as I have more than enough drill batteries now from local purchases so am only getting bare tools.

In saying that, now I have the Milwaukee drill I need some batteries for that... so....

I dont know if it is better or worse than its counterparts but has charged up my phone and currently charging the wifes phone all aok

Well I ordered one, for $20USD I'll try it and see what happens. If they refuse it, I've lost $20, if they didn't I got a top rated unit for $40 NZD landed which would be pretty reasonable in my book.

Shipito are cool with it and say DHL FedEx and tnt will take it. As well as Milwaukee drill batteries. Not sure how much lipo will push the freight up so will not be combining with other stuff.

Arrived today. Initial impressions are ok. It's about the size of a 2.5" HDD enclosure, and is reasonably heavy. Downside is the shell is a very shiny black and is a fingerprint magnet, and it's not that easy to clean either.

Hard to beat for the price, I'll charge with it overnight and report back.

Neither Youshop or Customs had an issue with it though if they had opened it I may have had some trouble as it's very clearly described as a battery inside, vs cell.
