Problem is that Metrix (who are owned by Mercury) normally use the Elster Grex meters. They don't even have a blinking LED to indicate your current draw. Instead they have an icon on the same LCD screen that has the usage information on it. So alot harder to interface another device to.

 

 

There is always the CT sensor option which seems a lot easier thank counting blinks??

That is a great article! Definitely would like to try that out. And much cheaper than off the shelf products

My first billing cycle ended 20th June. Can't see any usage since. Emailed Mercury now. Grrr.

So mine is happily being pulled into a real database I can play with. But it's about 3 days behind.

You need to steal some of that uranium and make a reactor for your house bro.

My Powershop app reports every day after the 12pm reading - so max 24hours delay... will have to try again tonight at 12:30am and see if it's updated already. Definitely updated before 7am as I have often seen 'yesterday's' readings first thing next day.
