Purchased a QC3 Car Charger in the weekend via Cable Direct NZ thanks to a fixed price offer on Trademe that was cheaper than their website.

Did find that AliExpress had a few chargers that would ship direct to New Zealand (via AnkerDirect), including a 10,000 mAh QC3. I am trying to decide if I can accept having a smaller charger with only one USB port on it, or if I want to stick to my guns and get a larger version with 2 USB ports

Anker eBay got back to me finally; they can't list the model I want on eBay because their store doesn't have any.
I didn't bother asking why they can't transfer one from their shop store to eBay store ...

In the end I did purchase the one from AliExpress - 10500mAh with QC3. Fingers crossed when it gets here it works with the LG G6
(if it doesn't, the LG will be sold)

FFS - seems I didn't purchase my Anker charger on AliExpress from Anker after all

Anker Global Store is not the official Anker store on AliExpress; Anker Official Store is

Fingers crossed I get the charger I ordered..

If Anker eBay has the Power Bank listed but it will not ship direct to New Zealand, you can email them and ask if they will change the shipping options on the listing.

I was able to then purchase a Power Bank from them direct - still not the model I wanted, but better than nothing

I don't believe their eBay account ships from the US. They aren't one and the same.

ankerdirect on eBay is Anker's official eBay store front.

They just don't list as much on there as they do on Amazon.

However from experience, if they do have a battery pack you want listed on eBay that won't ship direct to New Zealand, ask them to change their shipping options on the listing to allow worldwide shipping
It should be $9US for postage, and does ship from the USA

For reference, these are the official stores that Anker run

https://www.amazon.com/anker --- Amazon US

https://www.anker.com/ --- Anker Official Website

https://anker.aliexpress.com/store/1710553?spm=2114.12010108.0.39.hMVu03 --- Anker Aliexpress Store

http://stores.ebay.com/AnkerDirect --- Anker eBay Store

https://www.walmart.com/tp/anker --- Anker Walmart Online Store

Thank you, I got this reply which was interesting

First, we would like to thank you for your interest in Anker products. We hope your understanding that it is actually Amazon who decided to ship one item could be shipped to one place and not to another if that is fulfilled by Amazon. In fact, since April of 2016, the shipping regulations have restricted shipping batteries internationally, so most of the battery-related products on Amazon couldn't be shipped outside to another country. But only a very a few of them still remains available which I believe it's because they are stocked in different warehouse.

It might be possible that you can find some of Anker portable batteries from other platforms, which can be shipped to your country. Could you try to search? If you need specific information from us, could I bother you to screenshot your personal email address since Amazon removes all the email address from our conversation?

I will try the links thank you

Ok so I have checked Ebay and Amazon, they do not ship to NZ. I have tried to contact on ebay, does not appear to be allowed. Aliexpress has no stock.
So it looks like I am left with paying nearly double the price at DickSmith?

Any other options?

Thanks Jase,

Similar pricing to DickSmith but I guess that is the best option we have!

I have been very happy with the support at Cable Geek. And looking at a travel charger, a USB car charger and getting more of the Anker 5-port desktop USB chargers which I have been very happy with so far.

Yup, just don't try to have Youshop send it for you, cause it won't be going anywhere further than their American warehouse..
