So I guess I have hacked how to become a paying customer of Nest Aware subscription.

Wow - amazing work mate.

I might look at this and tee up my payment now to go through when my free time expires in November!

FYI when I got my order to go through the Nest store it says it is going to start charging me when my current free trial runs out.

This looks to be fixed now, I successfully subscribed to nest aware today.

Yeah I let Google know it was broken and where. Google eventually got in touch with me to thank me for pointing out the issue and fix.

Me too.

I've got two smoke alarms purchased in 2016 from www.amazon.co.uk and camera purchased from JB Hifi about six months ago.

Originally tried to purchase Nest Aware but this didn't work and I got 'free' cover while they sorted their systems out.

And they've introduced a a cheaper option for Nest Aware, so six month free cover and a cheaper product.

BTW The reason for purchasing from the UK Amazon was to get the mains powered 240 volt version.

Another confirmation here - details further up in the thread, but have successfully re-subbed my cameras and the subscription will commence when my free period expires.

Overall I have actually done Ok from this issue - got over a year of free sub for 3 cameras; worth over $300!
