Arrowhead has some great stuff. We used one of there remote relay units to trigger some equipment and the range was incredible even through a steel shed.
Pretty sure it was called octa.
I know they have medi pendants

We have just setup a PDL 600 series push button, for a panic button, wired to a bosch security alarm. The benefit of wired is that you should never need to worry about it not working, as not batteries or parts to fail. We did speak about wireless, but the installer said they would only do wireless if the house couldn't be wired. Philips do a wireless switch for the hue that never needs batteries, as it is powered by pressing it. but I suspect it still has a battery or capacitor of some type that will fail, and generally wifi isn't as reliable as wired.
