If anyone else is interested in doing something similar to the OP, and want to buy a tape deck, I have a Sony TC118SD tape deck ( Sony TC 118 SD)

Wow, love those late 70s stylings.

They don't make em like they used to.

It's been packed away in the box it originally came in for several years now but was in good working order when I retired it.

How much out of interest?

When I posted I hadn't given any thought to what it was worth. After I read your post I tried to find something similar for sale on line but the prices varied quite widely.

If you're interested, what are you willing to pay?
