There isn't much pricing out there. I suspect these are being supplied directly to or by installers, which may limit your ability to get parts or service in the future.
A 4kW unit would be sufficient for 9m^2 (I don't have pricing for anything smaller). I was quoted $1760+GST for a 4kW Gree (model not specified) fully installed, however, that was from a company which I consider to be on the expensive side and will no longer use as they offer fixed prices for everything, regardless of what work is actually required. Their Gree 4kW unit was more than an equivalent Haier unit installed through another company, although the larger Gree units were slightly cheaper.
EDIT: A lot of discussion about this brand, not much pricing...
Gree, delivery and installation* (unspecified models)
4kW $1760+GST
5.6kW $1845+GST
6.2kW $2527.5+GST

9 square meters is tiny. My home office is 18 square meters and a 2.4kw fan heater easily heats it even in the dead of winter. I tend to use an oil heater with a fan heater topping up the temperature.
The payback time on a heat pump is quite high for heating. Obviously cooling is nice in summer.
Hitachi at M10 (not sure how good the brand is) does $1269 for 3.2kw and $1429 for 3.8w, smaller would be fine. A back to back install is probably $700 - $1000 according to the HRV guy I asked recently who did my ducted unit, but that was for an install that wasn't back to back, and replacing an existing unit, but still I'd say $1000 isn't a bad estimate. So $2500. If it's just heating you can buy a lot of power for $2500.

kobiak: @timmmay Yeah that's my dilemma at the moment. I found Haier for 1600 including install, but that's still a lot of electricity... Like almost 1.5yrs for my 3 bedroom townhouse.
I use 1kw fan heater and it's does the job. So if under 1k including install is not feasible, meh...
You are dreaming if you think you are getting a heatpump installed for <$1K new, or pretty much, even second hand.
