Our Postie sends me a TXT whenever she puts anything in box. We are Rural and box is over 150m from house. Also have a real good Postie who holds mail whenever we are away if I TXT her.

Just realised... I'm going to need two of these devices, one for letter-format junk that goes through the front slot of the letterbox and a second for the larger things that get pushed in through the parcel-sized access panel at the back. And since the back panel closes again after access I'll have to make the front sensor level-triggered and the back one edge-triggered.

Bugger.
