Just be careful. I still had my US address registered so used that while making sure I had a US IP address through VPN. This worked for awhile but Amazon spotted that my Kindle 3G was accessing from New Zealand. I got a nice letter to my GMail account telling me they had locked my account completely. I argued that I travel and take the Kindle with me but even though they reactivated my account (a long time later), they have region-locked me.

When I was in France six months ago I was unable to purchase books or access archived books. I got an email saying they wanted verification that I had permanently changed countries.

It is outrageous that Amazon would lock your account.

These are the types of reasons that drive people towards downloading content from p2p.
