I listed 8 of them. But I have 3 or 4 more I need to swap out that are installed currently.

I've heard good things about these ones, might be slightly pricy to import.

I'm just leaving them on trademe sorry.

I've been running Shelly for over a year now. Apart from a couple going offline when my AP reboots they have been extremely stable. Best iot devices I have had.
I would be hard pressed to change devices. They dont do anything difficult so I don't know what I would gain changing at this point.

I still need to set up my RGB Shelly's. Bit more annoying to put something together. I want to make a 2+2m indoor strip, but more difficult is a 5+7+5+7 strip around a louvred roof, inside a gutter system...

I quite like the new range of Shelly devices but I can't really see myself replacing all my existing devices for new ones.....pity really. If I'd started my home automation adventure just one year later....  ;-)

Has anyone pre-ordered 4PM

Yep, I've got three of them here. One is mounted in a small external switchboard that's plugged in to a wall outlet - it monitors the usage of my homelab equipment (not intended to stay that way, it's more for testing the energy monitoring). The other two are wired up on a spare bit of DIN rail on my desk - no loads, but for testing and experimenting with the REST API.

They're pretty decent units. I'll eventually get them installed in the main switchboard when that's overhauled from the existing ceramic fuseholder board, and certification is completed. Shelly have stated in a support ticket to me that it's in progress.

My plan is to have them connected to a small PoE powered switch (Unifi Flex probably)

i have been slowly.  Have A bunch of zwave.  Some have been failing.   Some have just been affected by weird rf and not responding or being slow.  As I get annoyed I replace them with a shelly

Mine are already Shelly devices so I can't even use that as an excuse. I have to wait for them to fail.... Truth be told though there's not likely any practical functional benefit between the new and old Shellie's.... Maybe I'm just lusting after the new shape!

Is there any precedent for devices with LAN cables going into a distribution board? They look great, I just wonder if Shelly is really familiar with the AU/NZ regulatory environment?

I get the impression that it's pretty common in SCADA and industrial installations, but yeah, it may be a sticking point in a residential board. Worst case, I go to wifi, but would obviously prefer not to if possible.

I dont think I can jam in any more wiring and network connections into my standard residential board. Damn you progress!
