Spend a thousand or so and install your own downstream meter and you'll get all you need, and networkable to your hearts content.
I think analysis needs to be done via the online data supplied indirectly off the meter and back through the companies web site. As with many energy saving initiatives, the cost to outfit is often close to the savings to be made. It's over to the homeowner to make the call as to whether getting some usable data for free from the companies website is really bad enough to warrant spending a lot to gather this information themselves.
