So I discovered that there is a iphone app for Alexa... nice! But its only on the usa Istore.

My question has anyone gone to the trouble of setting up a states istore account installing the app THEN connecting your apple watch !!

Does it screw up the local settings for here in NZ ? Does it work ?

I am still having problems trying to update my address using the iOS app. Comes up with an error message saying it can't set your address. Can someone please share an example of a Wellington address which is working.

Yeh I'm having the same problems.

I first tried setting mine Friday, with no success despite 6 million iterations and multiple NZ addresses.
A colleague at work had done his the week prior, and I even tried his address but nada.  He removed the address and attempted to re-add, but it wouldn't take.

I suspect it was a bug that Amazon since closed.

Anyone else care to roll the dice to verify?

Ran the app just now, found I was signed out, signed in and tried to update the address on my workroom echo dot which I never bothered to do before and it refused exactly what I typed in before to update my other echos

Does anyone have a link to a 230V Z Wave outlet, or controller that can be hard wired to an existing outlet?
Came across lots in the US , but couldn't find any of the above

Haven't seen one. Hard to find things like that with NZ/AU frequency and socket.

There are plugs available like these:

Which have the advantage of portability.

So I see - much fanfare too.

But I'm not sure why multi room music is such a big deal - what's the point of making every room listen to the same thing?
