The Amazon AU deal is the best I’ve seen $531nzd with three day shipping. They also have a ton of accessories. I’m not using the BoboVR M2 head strap which is a lot more comfortable for long play sessions.

I’m going to be getting this halo strap, seen some very good reviews on it. https://www.amazon.com/adjustable-headband-comfortable-balances-Accessories-PC/dp/B08TX2X976

I was going to go for the Bobovr strap but it’ll be seen reports it has a bit of movement and doesn’t fit 100% snug on the face

gehenna:

Especially at this point of the product life cycle.  I mean it's only a year or so old but it came out soon after the Quest 1, and with all the announcements recently it stands to reason new hardware isn't far away either.

Indeed, new hardware is coming early-ish next year, although it's a more expensive advanced version that contains many features that may make it into a Quest 3.

No word on when a Quest 3 would be out, but based on Oculus (sorry, Meta haha) history, it could be late next year.

I kind of hope they take their time though, because refreshing hardware too often actually puts many people off purchasing.

Our last order from them (late Sep) took 6 days from placing the order to delivery. I don't think they're effected by the NZ Post situation as they don't contract out to them as far as I know.
