What's the software revision numbers on the device? (Available within the app) and the app revision numbers?

Unable to change my dots here also. I even got the config out of my Echo which has my NZ address in it and tried a few things with that without success. Mine are on software version 591452520.

Cheers, Matt

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Echo Dot V2 software version 591452520.

I wonder if I re-registered the device and set it up from scratch if it would work that way.

My software version is the same.

There is clearly a difference since some of you can't pick the UK as a country.

I worked out I can pick UK as a country but I have to pick a full address, I cant just select a postcode and UK and have it accept that.

I tried on Fire TV Stick, Echo and Echo Dot V2. No luck with any of them.

I updated the location information and resent, I got successful send (200) and even got the information bar to check my alarms etc. But when I went back into settings it still had the UK address.

I tried this last night and it worked perfectly on my two Gen 2 Echo Dots. Now responds with weather for Karori.

Yep I tried again last night too and working for me now too! Think might be related to Amazon's new Fire TV basic which is available to NZ.

So apart from the weather are there any other Alexa skills that will work better now? If I ask about traffic it will tell me a couple of local roads that are the fastest route and that it will take about 16 minutes - but to where?

Any other stuff that I can do now?

You should be able to ask (for example) where the nearest McDonald's is, etc.
