As mentioned I'm about to move to a new house and have some excess bulbs. If anyone is interested I have the following available;

  • 2 x 7.5w Dual White Bayonet $10 each
  • 1 x 9w Dual White Edison screw $15 each
  • 2 × 9w RGB Bayonet $15 each
  • 1 x Colour Remote $8 (or free if you buy both the two RGB bulbs)

I'm in Wellington if that helps.

I only recently found out about remote LED bulbs and have been recommended to get a warm white+cool white (dual white) 9w bulb (b22) and remote for my room to help combat some health issues that being able to switch between warm/cool white and dim or brighten the light would be very helpful for. I've done a bit of research and sadly they seem to be expensive (as cool stuff usually is lol), the cheapest bulb+remote+postage being $50.50 on Trademe, I just thought I would ask here in case anyone happens to know any NZ (or ebay etc) sites or stores that might have a b22 dual white LED bulb + remote for less then $50.50 or is that actually the cheapest I'm going to find? If it makes a difference to physical stores, I'm in Wellington city. Thank you in advance for any knowledge you can share!

 Yup, I saw that thanks, but it was posted a month ago so I figured they would be gone/sold already; also, it says 7.5w, which I don't think would be bright enough as the single light source in a large lounge type room, hence why I was looking for 9w, or has my research completely misled me??

Youi, I do still have some bulbs. Most of my 9W bulbs are gone as Limitless still have stock of 7.5W they are trying to get rid of first (so the (W are pretty hard to come by).

I may have a surplus 9W dual white bulb but I don't have a spare remote.

@shreyas has first dibs though as they asked for some while I was mid-move. I'll confirm what I have left tonight.

I would suggest just ordering from limitless directly. Quick to ship and OK freight. Site is USD so just beware of that.

Hi! Im still after a 9w B22 Dual White for my large room, and id also be keen on a 7.5w B22 Dual White for our smaller office if you have one. Am I correct in thinking that these two bulbs would use this kind of 2.6gh remote http://www.limitlessled.com/shop/wifi-remote/?

Does anyone here use the wifi bridge with a Fritzbox? Ive recently moved house and switched to 2 degrees which came with a Fritzbox.

Th problem is my usually reliable wifi bridge is now dropping off the network. If I run a continous ping it will 90% of the responses will be "request timed out". This causes problems for the app as only every other button press will register.

Ive tried a second bridge and same thing occurs - so its not device specific.

The only new variable I can see is the Fritzbox.

PS I have also recenly introduced a Netatmo and the new MySky to the network. I have blocked these as a test and same behaviour ensues.

Any clues why it would be dropping?

Finally got remotes to go with the lightbulbs Tchart sold me; this whole light goes up, light goes down, light goes bright, light goes dim, thing is really good fun to be honest haha. Does anyone happen to know if there is any power drain if I leave the light switch in the 'on' position at the wall, and use the remote for 100% of my turning on and off? Like how you're not supposed to leave appliances in 'standby' because it is still actually drawing power?
