To be honest, I can’t really fault it after 6-8 weeks of use.

The dust bin needs regular emptying (between cleans), and it’s geometry means it fills up in the middle without the sides getting full. Less than perfect, but understandable given the small size.

Other than that, both hardware and software (iOS) is exceeding expectations.

Price seems to have gone up a bit since I purchased, there aren’t any deals around the US$285 mark including shipping anymore. There are plenty of deals from Aussie eBay sellers at around AU$320 but none of them ship to NZ unfortunately.

Very happy. Even better, the wife is happy. Uses it all the time and is very impressed. Impressive little unit for the price.

As a product goes, it sucks only in a good way...

Actually its amazing how well it picks up things, its miss rate is very low and it generally

grabs anything left the 2nd time around.

Because we schedule it to do a daily clean, after the first few cleans its generally doing light maintanence.

Just bought one! Lower exchange rate will tip me into GST, though, as cost was $NZ450 with freight.

Going great here too, bought a second one for parents even! Really amazing how much dust and debris it picks up and its really easy to use.

Would recommend to everyone for sure! Much cheaper and better than the competition. Am considering more Xiaomi products now as well, bunch of people at work are going to buy the vacuum because of my post on Yammer

A lot of sellers declare the customs value to be much less than the purchase price, so you may be OK.

Just bought one also...through geekbuying. $408 (with freight), can't wait to see this thing in action (have never had a robot vac before...this thread got me hooked on the idea!)

How come yours was $408?? Mine was $US298 (included $US69 freight). That turned into $NZ451.

Through Geekbuying.com, HK Warehouse price was $228, Black Friday code GEEKBUY20 took $20 off, then $69 freight. Plus the shipping insurance came to $280 US, so about $408 NZ

I was resisting the temptation to buy this but eventually gave in.

Exchange rate made it to $420 for me.  Hopefully it don't get hit with the duty.
