Looking at the old Huawei forums in the UK (which now seem to have disappeared), someone in China had created a Windows tool that you could use to create your own watch faces - but it was in Chinese and not sure it was ever released.
It would be good to have that kind of feature available.

freitasm: There is the option - you can uninstall any watch face. Look closely on your app.
I find that if I tap on any pre-installed installed watch face from within the app, another screen opens with a large depiction of that face and there's a bin in the top right corner. Tapping the bin brings up a toast message stating "Pre-installed watch faces can't be deleted."
To anyone else that noticed that Sleep data is not being Sync'd since 1/1/2020, the fix from Huawei is being rolled out to the Health App but is slow getting to NZ. You can download it from the apk mirror site https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/huawei-internet-service/health/health-10-0-2-519-release/ the version 10.0.2.519 fixes the issue. Sleep data is displayed again.

Great, thanks for that. Thought I was going nuts, I seem to have all sorts of things breaking on me at the moment!
I just checked my sleep data-mine is still working. Just checked back to the 1./1/20 also data shows up fine??

TL;DR: This is not the watch for me, as my fuller-featured Wear OS watch has made some features "must-have". YMMV.
Which smartwatch did you buy and are happy with then in the end?

Here's hoping the same comes out soon for the GT.
Just bought it yesterday from a work colleague who got it with their Huawei phone a while back, but hadn't even opened the box.
I've changed from an Asus Zenwatch 2. I liked the Zenwatch, but the speaker died a while ago, and the battery life seems to have been dropping. Now very rare to get anywhere near 2 days.
With the GT - LOVE the battery life, the build and the display quality. Plus now having a fitness tracker is a real bonus.
Miss the ability to reply to texts etc. But TBH, I barely used the Zenwatch for any third party apps at all, so overall, more pros than cons.

One thing I've noticed which is becoming a real pain - the watch wont automatically reconnect to my phone when I get back in range.
Or rather, it may do automatically, but it takes a very long time, if at all. Is this normal? FYI - I have a Samsung phone.

If there's one thing I've learnt about Android updates over the years, irrespective of vendor, it's that you don't hold your breath for them. Especially if a newer model of something has been released.
