sonyxperiageek: Does the Xiao Mi come with additional sensors so you can place them somewhere and it won't go past the virtual barrier etc.?

You can get "Mi Invisible Wall for Xiaomi" looks like some sort of magnetic tape? Not the most visually appealing solution.

Through Geekbuying.com, HK Warehouse price was $228, Black Friday code GEEKBUY20 took $20 off, then $69 freight. Plus the shipping insurance came to $280 US, so about $408 NZ
Looks like this deal is still active, very sharp price!

Its got a floor mopping feature plus a the top sensor is pressure sensitive to avoid getting stuck under furniture. Other than that as far as I can tell its basically the same as version 1. For most people I would recommend getting version 1

And the sucking power has increased by 200Pa, from 1800 to 2000Pa. Apparently the Roomba 980's suction power is 1670Pa, so even the V1 XiaoMi outdoes the Roomba!

I know I have asked before, but I'm about to buy one if someone has reasonable confidence that the Xiaomi could deal with this 28mm transition from kitchen to lounge...

I'm looking on youtube/google at the moment but so far haven't found anyone testing this..
cheers - N
