How many NZ homes have central heating and cooling, and double large garages? Not many.

Er....most had double garages once you know.

My 80sqm one in Glendene.

My mums 130sqm one in Napier, now.  And a carport and 2 other sheds. No not 1/4 acre.

Most family and friends also.

I did notice way down South at the bottom of the country there tended to be the very long type garages as opposed to 2 cars side by side type.

And full of junk, rather than cars.

Central heating? Well parts of NZ have cold winters, a lot do not.

meh, rather have a wood burner.
