The battery connector on my iPhone has come loose. It's the part that connects the battery cable to the logic board. I know that when I hold the pins together the phone will boot.http://www.thegerar.com/images/0919product/s-ip4g-2725.jpg The photo shows the part that's loose. I'm not great with a soldering iron and don't want to ruin my phone so I was wondering if anyone knew a repairing company that would repair this? I've emailed iDoctor NZ and iPhoneCentre to see if I can get a quote. I'm in Hamilton btw. If anyone knows of somewhere that'd be great.
Been there done that, stuffed my phone. Try Partsurf in Christchurch http://www.partsurf.co.nz/ They had a go after I attempted a repair but were unsuccessful. My advice, don't attempt to repair it yourself, send it to a professional.
