Anyone else got the press stuff application.

I have the latest firmware and when run applic, the word stuff appears on screen, circle goes round and round under it then crash's.

Turning ipad off and on makes no difference.

I deleted it yesterday, redownloaded it and it worked fine. Turned my ipad off over night and now it's crashing again. Not wanting to have to download it every time want to use it, if no resolve will just use herald one, that to date works perfectly every time.

Yes I have the same problem. Currently have it uninstalled.

Found way round it lol.

Turn off wifi network, run stuff with no network present. This will have it showing old stories.

Then press button on ipad, to exit stuff but still have it running in background.

Turn network back on.

Start stuff back up, will still show old stories. Then as soon as select national or some other heading, it will load new stories. Crazy stuff.

I gave up using the Stuff app a long time ago because of these types of issues. It's very badly designed.

Pretty well sums up the whole Stuff site. I don't even bother going there any more app or no app.

The stuff app is a joke. If there is anyone affiliated with Fairfax or the developers of the app, please tell them to sack the entire team. Harsh, but it is true. These guys give developers in the IT industry a bad name.

I guess you have to be on facebook, and subscribe to their page to see that. I uninstalled the stuff app, as it was so poor. They should look at the SMH for a nice looking news app, although that too has had poor relibility from time to time. I can't see how they can start charging for news on these apps in the future, when they are this poorly designed and have such poor reliability. Other apps don't seem to have these problems.
