Hi guys

I wanted a Telecom XT logo for my phone but there wasn't one so I made one and I'm here to share it with you

Downloads

XT Logo: http://www.mediafire.com/?3k6j7l7lw0jvu8s

Jailbroken iPhone

Cydia (required to install app Zepplin<—Absolute neccessary for this to work)

iFunbox: to move the folder over on to your iPhone:  http://dl.i-funbox.com/ifunbox_en.zip

Ok, so first this is my first attempt at creating these so excuse the bad photo editing etc :D.

1st: Install Zepplin.

2nd: Download the zip. Extract to your desktop. [Should come out as a folder called TelecomXT]

3rd: Open iFunbox. There will be a index list on your left. Click on Raw File System. Then locate to Library. Scroll down till you get to the Zepplin Folder.

4th: Open it, then drag the folder [TelecomXT] in.

5: Go to settings, under Zepplin click XT Logo and it should be up

nice work man, Btw you dont need a jailbroken phone to set custom carrier logos.

As long as u enable carrier testing in iTunes , your good to go.

Just make an ipcc file with the right pngs :)

I've gone for a more minimalistic approach. Used the CarrierEditor app (only for mac) that creates the new ipcc that you update via itunes so no jailbreak is required.

Ahh I wish I had these files earlier, was a mission to create and size the logo correctly.
But I'm just wondering if there will be a problem with taneb1's files as the carrier version is now 13.9.6 from 13.1 When the next carrier version is updated via apple will the be a problem as theirs will be eg 13.2 so it will not follow the numerical sequence up?

I forgot to mention that mine don't require a jailbreak you just install them as an update on iTunes. http://beaugil.es/2012/01/custom-iphone-carrier-logos/

I have mine running on my iPhone 4S with no problems

lulz at proactively branding a phone, with so many other people out there ranting about branding being "crapware" and "bloatware" and the carriers "sh*tting up the device", with factions of communitys dedicated to 'debranding'.

You should have a cage fight with them. I think some of them reside here on Geekzone :-P

At least the Telecom logos are pleasing and modern these days.
