Is anyone noticing that the Hybrid or Satellite maps for Auckland are not working. Apart from the CBD, everywhere else seemed to be empty when zoomed in. Standard view works showing the streets, but hybrid mode just shows the gridlines. Images do show at about the 1:300m level.

I set up another new iPhone 6 and could not even seen the street names - completely blank.

Maps on the Mac OS seems to work fine however.

I don't even bother with Apple maps. Just download Google Maps and use that.

Hi - Apples Maps is showing plenty of data in the satellite & hybrid views for Auckland on my iPad & iPhone. Viewing from Wellington via wifi.

Cheers,

Fine here. Used it the other day, why would it take me the longer way??  Oh, the normal way was one way, the wrong way, due to new road works, pretty good

Maps just does nicer 3d buildings. I have both.

Makes for some interesting images though.
