iPad multitasking on one iPad, the Air 2

Streaming music, at US$120 per annum.

Underwhelming is the focus I see on other forums. A lot of fluff for little action IMO

It's more of a maintenance/performance update IMO, the only key "consumer" feature being Apple Music, which doesn't even need iOS 9 (coming with 8.4). I'm assuming NZ is one of the 100 countries to get Apple Music. The 24/7 global radio station will be awesome, Zane Lowe is often the first to premiere huge tracks.

Same with OS X El Capitan, nothing really new/exciting but lots of performance improvements. Similar to what Snow Leopard was to Leopard.

Agree, but what gets me is the fluff, fancy cool words, for little action, and its hardly a new release its more a x.4 release for both. I like Apple gear, but sometimes its like what Casey Stoner said to Valentino Rossi when the latter crashed both of them out of a MotoGP race, "your speed is bigger than your skill"

I'm happy to install "iOS 8.5 and OSX 10.2" soon.   And cheers for the Windows windows management.

Fix the Unicode bug they have currently. Was about to load it when my dirty upgrade to 10130 preview build is causing my iTunes to no longer recognise my iPhone

Fixing the basics would have been nice e.g WiFi in OSX

If there are problems with Wi-Fi (I haven't seen any) then they'll likely be fixed "silently" rather than advertised; Apple is unlikely to let on that there is a problem.

A quick search on Google or numerous tech site will show endless issues with WiFi on iMacs, MacBook Pros and MacBook Air. It has been ongoing now for sometime and several versions of OSX

Seems reasonable to me, about the same price as a Spotify Premium account. I would think the US$15 per month family plan will be popular too.

Call me old fashioned but I can't see myself paying NZ$16 per month to listen to music, via wifi at home, or 4G data elsewhere when its on me phone. But as you say the Family one is great value. Marketing 101, make the lower cost one poor value as there is no free ad version, then make the more costly version great value per user, maximising revenue.

I heard that if Apple get a 5% take up for Apple Music, they will have surpassed Spotify...
The user-base is so large, this can't but help alter the marketplace.
I'll be trying the free 3-month demo...

I read two things today, one is that Spotify has users in the tens of thousands, I am sure its way more than that. And a Kiwi group had a top 7 hit in Europe, and got 800,000 plays, they got 20 Euro
