Hey guys

For the last 5 months or so I have been using an El Cheapo Trademe silicon case on my iPhone. My friend just got a 32Gb touch and has a silicon Incase skin on it. Its a way better fit than my crappy case and looks way cooler.

What are your recommendations for a case, and what do you guys use? I used to be keen on a leather wallet-ish case but the bulkiness of it has kind of gotten rid of that idea... anyone got any experience with incase cases?

I don't use a case, I like my iPhone to retain all it's glory and not be hidden behind a case. At the end of the day the only really part of the iPhone that can be scrathed/damaged is the silver edging around the screen. The back won't (unless you gauge it with something) and the screen is made of glass (ever tried scrathing glass, it's not that easy!).
I understand why people would want a case, just incase you drop it or whatever, but it just doesn't appeal to me. I am extreamely careful with mine and I am sure one day I may regret not having a case, but hey if you had Jessica Alba or Brad Pitt (which ever takes your fancy) on your arm, would you put a bag on their head or wrap them in leather.......Actually, ignore that last one. Would you put a bag on their head?

This is just my opinion.

Jessica Biel in leather please Laughing.
Jessica Biel - Leather

But on another note you can't tell me this case doesn't look nice - hardshell, tight fit, and only 1mm thick, and dockable!

OK yeah, that is a nice case, I prefer the black one though.

LOVE that case from "Incase". So much so I just went to order one and also a laptop bag for my MBP... but alas, they only ship to US addresses! Frown (NB: I realise I can use forwarding services but they cost too much - have left them a "suggestion" that they start shipping outside the US).

I considered getting a silicone case, but ultimately, would have masked the beauty of the device, and made it bulky, while offering some protection in case of a drop. I went for an Invisible Skin instead which I picked up on Trademe. I promise not to drop it ....
iLounge.com have a good comparison of all the different kinds of cases: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/sort_grades/C250/250
