WWDC 2016 is just around the corner, live streaming from 5AM NZST tomorrow 14th June

There seems to be less and less hype about WWDC every year. Im guessing as it becomes more of a developer focused keynote as opposed to a major consumer product release keynote which has been the case in previous years, we see less and less people become interested in the event.

Will you be getting up early tomorrow to watch the live stream?

What major announcements are you expecting or most excited for?

Personally, based on the rumours I have seen (if they do eventuate) I am most excited for a OS wide dark mode option inside iOS 10, New MBP hardware with built in OLED touch panel above the keyboard and Siri integration into OS X.

Hi - I probably won't bother watching it live, but will certainly be all over the newsfeeds ASAP in the morning.

Hoping for new MacBook Pros and the iPhone 7 announcements.

I've been enjoying the Apple chat lately around where the next innovation is and whether AI interfaces are going to eat away at Apples traditional superiority in GUIs. So I'm interested to see if there is any updates on Siri or a response to the new Amazon voice controlled things, Alexa.

2013 Retina MBP's were introduced at WWDC i think. but yeah they havent announced hardware recently. they're due for an upgrade

According to the rumours, it's going back to "Mac OS" (or possibly MacOS or macOS). I've also heard "Fuji" mentioned.

Saw this on the macrumours website:

Siri also now appears to be hinting at another OS X feature that doesn't currently exist in iOS: asking the personal assistant to "turn on dark mode" results in the response, "Sorry, but I'm not able to change that setting."

Looks like at least one of the new features I was hoping for will be added!

Not liking iOS 10 so far, a bit clunky. Hope they roll out beta 2 quicker...

I do like the idea of being able to uninstall preloaded apps in iOS 10.

Disappointed dark mode didn't make it into iOS, Did make its way to tvOS though. The new messaging features in iOS are nice but It does feel a little crowded in there now with so many different features.

Siri integration with macOS is a winner for me, I will be using that a lot. But Ill wait for the public release. Previous OS X betas caused too many issues with critical programs for me in the past.

I didn't see how Siri is activated on the Mac, hopefully the always on 'Hey Siri' is an option instead of having to click somewhere on the screen to activate it.

Me too, I removed the Calculator app as I only ever access it from the Control Centre but was disappointed to see when you do that it also removes it from Control Centre also! argh
