So I'm upgrading to a new phone (as the iPhone 7 has killed 6s prices on TM now :) and want to take all the non-amazon books i have in my kindle app with me.

I've googled every set of keywords i can think, but keep getting otions to ADD them to the app, not synch/tranfer them FROM the app.

Anyone know if this is even possible?

(i have at least 30 books I've not yet read that i've emailed to the @kindle.com conversion email that aren't in my 'cloud' library)

30 odd books separately emailed AGAIN to XXX@kindle.com is gonna suck!

In ITunes can't you copy them off as application data and to your local hard drive?

Can you create an Amazon account and sync data with Amazon cloud?  I recently down loaded that app on to my ipad to take advantage of the free e books that is part of prime, but you can only use a kindle, but I did noticed after I signed in that it tried to sync device.

Or as rp1790 stated transfer to your computer

If you have previously emailed them to yourself at your @kindle.com account, they will be stored on your kindle account.

Log into Amazon.com and go to Your account --> Manage content and devices

It will have a list of all your books, most of the ones you email to yourself will be under Documents rather than books.

Then on your new phone, resync your kindle app with your account.
