Does anyone know where I can get a full, up-to-date, list of all the Apple TV 4 apps that are regionally available here in NZ ?

I take it you don't have one, and want to know whats there that you like?

Unaware of a full list, what are you wanting on it? Me and others can check.

Yeah, thinking about getting an Apple TV 4 but before I do, I would like to get some idea of all the apps that are available to us Kiwis.

Must admit, I kinda have a love-hate relationship with Apple; love that fact that all their gadgets, imho, are simply to use and just work properly for the purpose they were designed for but hate the fact that they are so "proprietary" and secretive about everything. Take for example, a list of Apple TV apps; I have googled this exhaustively and it seems that the only way to "see" all the available apps is to buy a Apple TV 4 and connect to the app store, whereas for the Amazon Fire, I can look right now at the Amazon App Store, no problems. I really do not understand why restricting access to the Apple TV app store is necessary; why not just allow browsing ?

I found it hard to see what was on Netflix without having to subscribe.

There are quite a few apps, many games. Aside from that its all sorts of niche rubbish, as you get with US TV.

NZ wise, 3Now OD, Fanpass, Netflix, Lightbox. Missing is TVNZ OnDemand, that can be Airplayed. I also have TED and Curiositystream. Couple of ISS apps which are cool. YouTube. WWE for daughter! Plex. There is a remote app so you can use iPhone for remote, easier for text search.

So, if you mean NZ video, as in OnDemand or streaming, most of its there. Plus the obligatory YouTube, access to iTunes content thats one you Mac if you had one. iTunes off course too.

For one it could be, hey thats not much, for me, its got all I want in one box, although TVNZ would be good to have

Yeah, must admit, that Netflix is another service I have a love-hate relationship with.

However, I can understand why they force you to subscribe in order to see content as that is their business model, i.e a subscription service. Initially, I signed up just so that I could see what content was available, my logic was "Hey, it's only $9, I can look around for a month and if I don't like, I can cancel my subscription" ... it's now months later and I am still signed up embarassed

BTW, also signed up for the CuriosityStream as well ... it's an awesome streaming service

Sweet. My main reason for the ATV4 was everything in one box, almost.

I got 64GB cow I could, but unsure hom ugh apps use, daughters taken it ver with her friend rfght now. Unless a live streaming app allows recording, or if your into lots of games, 64 probably isn't worth it I guess

I've got 45 apps installed and it's only used 7.97 GB.
I'd only get the 64GB version if you plan to install lots of games.

I have the 32, but no idea how much space I'm using.

If you have other iOS device you can look though the App Store as Apple TV apps are shown with a flag.

I have lightbox, 3NOW, Netflix, plex from nz, and BBC Iplayer and hayu from U.K. App Store. And the cw from us App Store. Red bull tv is either from nz or us, not sure.
